My Lego Obsessed Boy

Jackson eats, sleeps, and dreams about Legos these days.   He received several sets for Christmas and then spent some of his saved money to buy a few more.  Recently, he's been waking up and playing with his Legos before breakfast.  There have been several times I've had to go up there and MAKE him come down.  We've also recently discovered Lego books at the library and we've been having fun reading those.

We did a Lego exchange with a friend who loves Legos too.  This is the one we brought home to make.  

I love that Jackson is learning to focus and see a project through to the end.  He works really hard and does well using the instructions, even when the age on the box says 8 and older.  I think he is going to have an engineering mind like this daddy and be able to put things together easily.
