Spring Break Fun

We had a nice spring break and tried to take advantage of a couple of nice days by getting outdoors.

We went to one of our favorite parks with friends.  We played, ate lunch, walked to another park and played in the creek.

Laine took one of the days off and we went to the Heard Museum.  We enjoyed the outdoor nature trails and the beautiful sunshine.

Jackson moved up to the next level in swimming.

I didn't get a picture but on Friday night we had a special movie night.  Jackson worked hard and earned the privilege to watch Star Wars.  He loved it and is ready to watch the next one.


Ryan also worked hard and earned a trip to Chuck E Cheese.  We went at 10:00 on Saturday morning before it got crowded and had lots of fun.

Both boys are taking swimming lessons and LOVING it.  We are ready for summer!

A few weekends ago we watched Courtney's kids while she went to a friend's 40th birthday party.  We took them for a walk in the woods.

Then we headed to Chic Fil A - a family favorite.

             

We bathed all 4 kids and had them in bed on time.  Piece of cake!

Because of all of the snow/ice days recently we have had a lot of indoor play time.  The boys love play-doh.  I hate cleaning it up but it usually occupies them for a good chunk of time.

Poor Ryan got a sore above his chipped tooth so we had to take him to the dentist.  The tooth was infected and had to come out.  Here he is before his tooth extraction.

All done.   Poor guy.  He is going to look a little goofy for a few years but we think it fits his silly personality perfectly.
