Jackson had tons of fun at his field day.

Unfortunately I was sick on Jackson's last day of school but I managed to make it up there for a few end of year festivities.
His teacher, Mrs. Simpson shared a sweet list of things that each of the students' classmates said about them. She also asked them three questions and shared their answers.
Jackson said:
1. What was your favorite part of Kindergarten? Writing
2. What are you going to do this summer? Go to Great Wolf Lodge and Hawaiian Falls
3. What do you want to be when you grow up? A construction builder (this one has stayed pretty consistent for the last few years)
Time for the end of year party. They had outdoor games, inflatables and snowcones!
| Jackson and his precious teacher, Mrs. Simpson. We could not have asked for a better teacher for his first year of school. |
Each kindergartener made a time capsule. We are supposed to store it somewhere safe and open it on their high school graduation day. I definitely got teary just thinking about that. Now...to find somewhere to keep this so I don't forget where I put it!

He has become much more sensitive as he's gotten older. He really cares what other people think and wants everybody to like him. This has been an adjustment for me and for him. He used to just run around, act crazy, and not have a care in the world. But I guess this is all just a part of growing up.
The boys are both so excited about summer. We've made a summer bucket list and have a lot to look forward to. Although they do fight and bicker like any siblings they love each other so much and usually play together really well. I know Ryan is happy to have his brother back home to play with every day!
