We had so much fun this weekend with our friends. Lauri and Amanda and their families traveled to north Texas to join us for our annual Christmas get together. It's been 2 1/2 years since all four of us have been able to be together. We had so much fun eating, talking, and corralling the kids. It's hard to put into words just how much it means to me to be together with these girls. Love you guys!
The title goes back to a trip we took many years ago (that we jokingly called "Wild on Nana's" after a show that was on at the time) where we stayed at my Nana's condo in Florida. Our get togethers are more mild than wild these days. This time we were in the big town of Prosper. Even though things are different these days with all of the kids we still manage to have a lot of fun. After all the kids were in bed we spent hours reminiscing about all the fun times we've had over the last 20 years and getting excited about how much fun we are going to have in Destin this summer. It's still hard to believe we've been friends for that long.
Thankfully, Amanda captured some great pictures of the kids.
And we actually managed to capture a couple of us for once.
Next up: Wild on Destin (June 2012)
Can't wait!

The new definition of "wild" comes from the fact that we have 9 kids aged 5 and under, haha! We had such a great visit with you all and feel so blessed that we are able to get together. I was trying to count how many years we've been friends and I came up with 23 (give or take a few). How amazing is that?? I am SUPER excited about Destin and can't wait to make some new memories with you all. Love and miss you already!
I had such a great time last weekend! I loved our girlie time and our long talks. There's nothing like spending a fun weekend together with your high school BFFs! :) Wild on Prosper was a blast--bring it on, Wild on Destin 2012! :-)
