May/June Photos

Our church recently had it's groundbreaking ceremony.  We've been a part of this church for almost 2 years now and we are so excited about our new building and how we will be able to serve our community through it.  We had a 24 hour prayer vigil before the groundbreaking and families signed up to come pray in the very location of our new church building for the 24 hours before the groundbreaking.  We really enjoyed bringing the boys and participating in that.   The groundbreaking was a really special day.

The kids got to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony.

The outline of our new worship center was drawn out in chalk and we gathered around to pray and ask God to use us to bless our community through our new building.  One of our elders stands and prays where the pulpit will be.

Boys being silly.

Jackson recently earned yellow tape on his belt.  His very first step up in TKD.  He was SO excited and proud of himself.  I have loved watching him each week.

We went to the zoo with G and Dada.  I didn't get very many pictures but here are two of the boys feeding the birds.

In other very exciting news, Jackson lost his first tooth on Friday.  It was loose Thursday night and he played with it all morning on Friday until it just popped out!  He was super excited about the tooth fairy.  She brought him a special note and 6 quarters since he is 6 years old.
